Daiva Tubutytė works with moving image, writing, photography and sculpture. Her practice explores dramatic narrative structures through performances captured in minimal film setups. She combines documentary material and staged social situations into intense close-up portraits of people in interaction. Her work serves as an open-ended reflection on the dynamics of power and how they shape collective narratives around gender and systems of value.
